I am going to be changing up the way I do my pattern sales this year. I will be having 1 in Jan., and then a 2nd one around the end of June. I will only be having 2 a year from now on. Good morning!!! Well, the show was just wonderful yesterday!! I'm sure the internet is buzzing about all the wonderful things & people that were there!! It was so good to see old friends, and meet new people. I will post some pictures of our booth tomorrow. Hello everyone~~I finally decided that it was time to do a little work on my blog!! I really haven't changed much since I started it a few years back. So,,,, I decided today was the day.... but then I discovered that a lot has changed!! I could not get it to work using my aol or internet explorer. I guess my laptop is getting old like me! :) So, I finally figured out what I needed to download to get back on track. This ended up being a lot more than I had planned, so I will work on it slowly, here & there to get things the way I want them. I am working on another Christmas order, and trying to get things stashed away for the Simple Goods Show in Nov., so please bear with me as I work this all out. In the end, I hope you will like it. It seems hard to believe that almost a month has gone by since I've posted on here! I have been busy catching up on my Fall orders & can say that I am shipping the last ofthem out today!! Now just 1 Christmas order to go & I will be all caught up. :) I am however squeezing in a few new things to post on our Picture Trail possibly tomorrow night! That's what I'm hoping for, but we'll see how it goes. It will just be a few things until I get can get enough finished for a big Fall on-line open house that will be around the end of August or early part of Sept. I will post more about that later. Hello Everyone!! Well, I have been busy finishing up a few things & just got them listed on my Picture Trail. I added items to the Fall Album & the New Update Album, so be sure to check in both of them to see what's new. :) I have also been working on 3 new patterns that I will have ready tomorrow morning. I tried to have them ready for the update, but there's just not enough hours in the day. I will work on them some tonight, but I want to take a few hours to just relax with the family. Also....I may add a few things next Tuesday. Not a lot, just a couple of things IF I get them done! On Next Friday *June 17th* we will be leaving for vacation for a week, so any e-mails that come in during that time may not get answered right away. A Couple of Fall Items!!

Well, I have been itching to do a few small Fall items & have just added them to our Picture Trail. I will be doing a bigger update on next Thursday (June 9th). I will have more new things for you to look at then, & hopefully another new pattern or two. :) I have decided it's a lot easier for me to add things as I go since I am still watching the grandbaby 40+ hrs. a week. She is a lot of fun....walking...no RUNNING all over the place & getting into everything!! I have to say that some days she just wears me out!! I guess that's why we have them when we're younger! Anyhow....that's why I added a few things today....it just gets too much for me to get everything added all at once, but on Thursday I will be adding the most stuff. So check back next Thurs. I have had a few requests for my new big Americana Doll to be made into a pattern. She is a big doll....about 32" tall. She has a dowel that is attached to a wooden base. Price would be $15.00 + shipping for a mailed paper pattern. No e-patterns will be made. I will have to specially print these off as she is so big, so if I get enough interest I will go ahead & make her into a pattern. Well, it has been a while since I have posted anything on here, so I thought I'd stop in & let you all know what's going on with us!! Well, Derek broke his hand a couple of weeks ago, and if that wasn't enough, my back went out again for a week. BUT we are both doing fine, and are working extra hard to catch up & get things ready for the Simple Goods show next week end. I can't wait to get everything all set up & relax & have fun seeing everyone again!! Not to mention Friday night in our Hot Tub room!! We don't get away by ourselves very often, so we always get a nice room & pamper ourselves the night before the show! I hope we will see some of you there! We are going to be in a different spot this year, so please look for us in the other room right across from Old Mother Hubbards booth. Hello everyone~~Just wanted to say that we had such a fun time yesterday at our signing at The Country Gentleman!! The owner & the gals that work there are so sweet and treated us so good. It was cold & gloomy, but we had a descent turn out and sold good in spite of the weather! One of the ladies who came in to buy dolls was 87 years old!! What a sweet little lady she was. Now it is time to focus on getting our stuff together for the Simple Goods show Nov. 6th. It is always so much fun to go set up & talk to the other vendors/artists and of course all of the shoppers!! We hope some of you will be able to attend this awesome show, and stop in our booth to meet us.....we would love to meet all of you!! Whew!! That was a lot of work!! I had a heck of a time taking pictures today....one min. the sun was out, the next it was really dark, so you have to excuse some of the photos!! I do the best I can with my very limited abilities!! I updated a "New Items" album, and put many new things in my Vintage/Antique album as well. You will find some fun new Fall things, a couple more of Derek's pieces, and some nice old wood bowls and such. Well, it has been a busy few weeks for us!! The last week of July, we had a graduation party/going away party for our daughter Courtney who moved back to WI., then the following week was Fair week & our youngest daughter Grace entered a painting and a drawing for the first time, and won 1st & 3rd place ribbons!! This last week was spent shopping for all of the 'back to school' things for the youngest 2 girls, who went back to school today.

I am hoping to get all of my shop orders caught up & out the door next week, and somehow manage to get some things together for an update the 1st week of Sept. sometime. I have so many new things I am wanting to do....it's just to find the time to do them all. BUT~~~Derek has been getting a few new things done out in the shop, & if you would like to see what he's been up to, please stop over at our Picture Trail! He has an awesome new Salt Box done (another one should be ready to list tomorrow) a pumpkin colored candle shelf, & some of his hand made wooden geese are ready!! He also will have a few more pieces ready for me to list tomorrow, and will be starting his little feather trees again soon. Okay....that's about it for now, I really have to get back at my orders!! Hello Everyone~~ I was going to try to get an update ready for yesterday, but I just couldn't get to it with my orders & having our daughter's graduation/going away party this week end. Hello everyone~~ It is a cold & rainy day here in Ohio, and it looks like it is going to be that way for most of the week. :( But on the brighter side~~I just might get lots done for my update!! I have decided to have it on Sunday night, 5~16~10 instead of on Thursday so that I can have more to offer. To all my friends who are Mother's, I hope you have a blessed day filled with lots of love & pampering!! I, myself, plan on spending the day at home with my family relaxing. This is going to be a special day for our oldest daughter~~it's her very first time being a Mother, so this year it will be all about her....I've had enough pampering through out the years.

Here's my sweet little angel Raeghan!! I have to get the more updated photos on my computer, but here she is the day she was born. What a sweet baby she is....we hardly even know she is around! She hardly ever cries & is already sleeping good at night. What a little blessing she is!

It's Official~~I'm a Grandma!!!

Hello everyone~~ Well, it has been quite the week for us!! On Monday night I got a call from our daughter that the fluid around the baby was about half of what it should have been, so they were going to induce labor at 5:00 Wed. morning. Thankfully we got down to TN. in time, and were able to get them to the hospital and be there for the delivery!! It was just amazing! They started to induce at 7:30 am, and little Raeghan Renae was born at 10:45 am. She was 7 lbs., 7 oz. and 20" long!! And she has some hair!! We all expected a bald baby so we were quite surprised to see any hair. She is just a little angel. I love her so much already, and they are coming to Ohio with us for a couple of months so that we can help them out. What a blessing!! I will post some pictures once we are back and have high speed Internet again. Well, enough for now...I'll write again when we are home. Blessings~~Jackie

Due to some family issues that have come up, we sadly are not going to be able to do the Settlers Fare show this month!! Well, I will be spending the day getting ready for my oldest daughter's baby shower tomorrow. She is in TN. and won't be here, but we'll be on the phone, and I'll be taking pictures & sending them to her throughout the shower. It's been kind of hard, since most of our family is in WI., she's in TN., and we're here in Ohio. We'll be going down there as soon as she goes into labor, and are hoping to get there in time for the birth. She wants me in the delivery room with her. :) We are all getting excited to have our first grandbaby/niece. She is having a little girl....Saylor Raeghan Renae. It took me a bit to get used to the name, but it's grown on me. Just can't wait to see her & hold her. Well, I am off to start my busy day...have a great week end everyone!! Blesings~~Jackie
